Settings that taper AWAY from the center

Hi all -- I've just recently realized how much I like settings that actually get wider toward the center stone, not narrower. I guess it's the opposite of what most people like, but that's OK with me. Here are a couple examples:

The Tacori is lovely, but the simpler Sholdt is really what I consider my "dream ring" at the moment. Can anyone think of other plain solitaires that taper away from the center stone, without actually turning into a split shank?

The Tiffany Lucida is like this. Like you, I also LOVE settings where they are wider near the center. I think it looks really great on any hand.

I don't know of many plain solitaires that taper away from the center unfortunately. Are you open to pave maybe? This is one of my favorite Ritanis, the design is so stunning IMO.

^ Ooh, that one is gorgeous!

All good choices -- I didn't know about any of them except for the Sholdt semi bezel. It's gorgeous from some angles, but I'd have a hard time getting over the chunkiness of it. I'll have to keep the Tiffany Lucida in mind in addition to the Vatche x-prong. Thanks for the ideas so far!
