I think I posted this in the wrong section initially. (I think this is the right place.) Sorry, I''m new.

I''m looking for ideas for an e-ring. I like oval diamonds - probably around 3/4 carat, solitaire. I don''t want a run-of-the-mill setting, but am having difficulty coming up with a setting that doesn''t overwhelm the stone (or my hand) and isn''t something I''d see on everyone else. I was wondering if anyone had any unique settings or rings that would work particularly well for an oval? Pictures would be a great help.

Thanks!

Hey BRX56! Welcome to Price Scope!!!

How about an oval tension setting like this from Gelin & Abaci, so if you like yellow gold this is nice, but if you like white gold or platinum, it may be made in the same style. i thinks it's elegant, pretty and unqiue.

I have also seen ovals set in a tension setting east to west, instead of North to Soth like this one...I hope this helps!! Good luck!!
