settings - comfort fit vs. knife edge

Can someone please explain the difference between a comfort fit setting and a knife edge setting?

comfort fit refers to the inside part of the ring that touches your finger. It''s a bit rounded. Knife edge refers to the outside part of the ring. If you cut a cross-section it would look like a triangle. You could actually get a comfort fit knife edge if you wanted.

The above description is spot on. However, I would recommend going to a local store to try on some bands. Some people really like the comfort fit and will want only that. Others do not care.
