Setting placement

Quick remedial question: when a 4 prong setting goes onto a round stone, does it sit on the portion that is the ''arrow tipw'' on an H&A or would is sit between them?

I''m trying to determine if a setting will help hide inclusions on a couple of particular stones.

I imagine you could ask the jeweler who is setting the stone to try to cover any inclusions or orientate the stone any way you want. I don''t know if there is a traditional way to set them, but I''m sure someone with more knowledge than me will be by to answer that.

Leon Mege sets his prongs on the arrows. Whiteflash sets theirs in the middle between arrows. Some jewelers set the diamond without looking at the arrows. I''m sure wherever you go you could tell them your preference.
