Setting options for Princess earring

What are my options for a Princess diamond solitaire earring setting?

I am just thinking about these and so far, I have only seen a very heavy V-prong on each corner

and I have also seen a simple prong on each corner.

These would be .50 (or so) each, so keeping the small size in mind, what setting would be best?

the corners are most prone to chipping in princess stones. that is why you see the ''heavy'' v-prongs. need to keep those corners safe!
