Setting opinion

Thinking about having WF thin down their Champaigne pave setting for my e-ring. WHat do you guys think would look better with a .84 diamond?

First pic is with a 1.0 with the normal band..... second is with a .5 with the version that does not widen as much at the top.

I like the one that''s thinner at the top. It will make the diamond look bigger, and will look a little more delicate.

I agree with Kristy and Sundial. If you want that stone to pop, a thinner band especially close to the stone does the trick.

First band is my pick.

I am wondering if the bands are different metals. The first seems not as "chrome" like. I like the look of the first band, but I might go with the finish of the second.

I am sure you can request either a shiny or brushed finish. It seems like that setting is normally the brushed matte finish.

Ah thanks for bringing the finish into this...... Who else has a preference? Shiny or Matte?

I would perhaps ask Brian at WF. He may suggest one vs the other depending on the color of your stone. One may "look" brighter than the other. Just a thought.
