My personal favorite is this: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/friends-pear-3-stone-e-ring-pics.91950/

I can't imagine having 3 pears in one ring and it not being a three-stone...

I imagine something like this: http://www.mdcdiamonds.com/engagementdetails.cfm?Stock=ES136BSPSWG&Country=US#
But with a curved shank like in the personal fav. link.

Here are a bunch of good examples with MDC: http://www.mdcdiamonds.com/EngagementRingsRe.cfm?Collection=Pear#

Best of luck! Can't wait to see the results :))
If you don't mind sharing, which etsy seller will you be working with?

ETA,
Jokingly of course, it sounds like you're making a Jessica Simpson engagement combo ring. The pears, the rubies... ;))

Thanks! I'll take a look at this!

Also, I have no idea what her ring looks like! :) Ruby is my birthstone and they are too expensive for me to get one that is large enough for a ring and still in my budget for this project so they became side stones.

Thank you Waking Dreams for posting that collection of where to find pear rings - awesome! I adore pears (don't own any diamond pears, but have collected a few coloured stone ones - yet to be made into anything ....) and to just have the eye candy links - that will make my day just "heavenly spent" on PS!!!

thanks :appl: :appl:

And Jax 172 - my vote would be a classic setting - prongs or bezels - because the uniqueness of the pear shape and the ruby combo, speaks volumes on its own. Most rings tend to be RB or princess cut at present. Any other cuts seem to be outside of the comfort zone of most, so your ring will be aMaZiNg no matter what you decide on

Thanks! I have smaller hands so I'm looking for a simple and classy design. Nothing too overwhelming. I'll be sure and post it when it's done.
