Setting help: Ideas on tacori

Still haven''t quite found the right diamond. But we decided to look at some settings and came across a couple tacori settings that are very pretty.

Can someone give me their opinions of tacori-- is it generic or is it a special brand? Are there other brands I should be looking at? I have looked at the pearlmans site and I love the Michael B stuff-- its way too expensive for us though!

WOW that is a gorgeous setting! Tacori, from what I know (2 friends have them) are very well respected, top notch settings. What is your price range if you have one?

thanks so much, just trying to decide on whether tacori is really good or if I should go with a non-brand PS vendor setting or maybe another brand all together. I like the look of these so far! My price range-- (these would be in white gold or yellow gold ) is under 1500. In platinum they are almost twice as expensive!

I''ve looked at Tacori a couple of times and the salespeople always tell me about the life-time warranty on Tacori. Apparently if a stone falls out of a setting (not your, but one of theirs) they will replace it for free for life.

Sigh....I have no input but just wanted to say I love Tacori rings, maybe one day

I think if you like one of Tacori design''s 100% you should splurge and get the Tacori. If there are little things you would like to change, custom may be better (however custom can get pricey too). Tacori will work with you if you have small changes you want to make. I love all three designs.
