setting dilema

I have a lovely stone but I''m not thrilled with the setting. Side stones are bar-set. They tend to loosen. Also I would like to switch to platinum. I have searched and searched. Does anyone have any site suggestions? Thanks

Sorry to hear about your setting. I have searched a lot of on-line vendors - it's not easy beccause I want to personally see the setting and hold the stone up to it.

I did find a lot that I liked at McGivern Diamonds...their website is www.overnightdiamonds.com. I don't know anything about them except that they show about 500 different settings with good clear pictures.

Hi - I just seconded abbyld's suggestion of McGiverns on another thread (setting - started by Tawn) becuase I just had a good experience with them.

Also, there is a compiled list of sites in the FAQ section.

What type of setting are you looking for?
