I''m making my final choices for my first e-ring purchase. The folks at Whiteflash have been awesome - helping me along with the process. However, I wanted to throw some questions out as a free-for-all to the Pricscopers to get some candid responses.
It''s coming down to:
1) A Whiteflash Crescendo - half bezel, channel set diamonds, white gold, nice engraving.
2) A Whiteflash custom design based primarily off a Knox Jewelers Hand Engraved Legacy setting. Very nice looking prong setting w/ split prongs, surpise diamond, channel set diamonds, and cool engraving.
The setting is for a 0.8-0.9ct rb most likely sourced from WF. The budget is calling for white gold.
I''m a sucker for nature-inspired engraving and some diamonds along the sides for extra flash. I was never attracted to half-bezel designs until I came across the Crescendo. Are there pro''s/con''s to a half bezel design vs. standard prongs? Does it make the center stone less flashy? (does less light get to it?) I like the Crescendo because it appears to be a bit lower than the Knox-inspired. However, I dig the split prongs and classy styling of the Knox piece.
My decision making gears are stuck! Shoot me some thoughts, opinions, considerations... what other questions should I be asking? Thanks everyone!
