So, the diamond has been purchased, 1.01 carat emerald cut H VS2, it''s on the way to Leon for the ring, based on this design: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=2
I''m hoping I can convince him to make a matching wedding band for it. I''ve read posts saying he usually doesn''t recommend to wear them together, but maybe if there''s no pave...
Anyway, this attached photo is something I''ve got in mind, maybe no princess cut diamonds, all baguettes would be nice. I can imagine it in a narrower more delicate band, maybe less than 2mm wide. I''m hoping the curve of the band will match up with the seating ring (donut) of the ering (visible in the 2nd photo on Leon''s page) so there will be little if any gap. I also like the shape with the bend, something a bit out of the ordinary.
For my band I''m thinking of something with a single baguette, either north-south across the whole band which will be around 4mm wide, or maybe east-west so that it matches her ring a bit better.
What do you think? Comments and ideas are welcome
