Setting a Princess and Insurance Please Help!

I have a setting from Shaneco. I have a diamond from Barry at Excel diamonds.
Shaneco will not insure my stone if it is damaged will being set.
Barry will insure the stone while being set, but Shaneco will void my life time warranty on the ring if Barry sets it. What do I do!

I will call when they open up and let you all know the outcome. I am getting anxious for the completion of all this. I have been researching/searching for the ring almost two months now.....but I know in the end it will all be worth it!

Hi all!

It all worked out. Barry at Excel is the BEST! After hearing my predicament he offered to set the diamond and extend their warranty to include the setting! Also Jewelers Mutual offered to insure my loose stone while it is being set at Shaneco. I decided to go with Shaneco because they are local to me, and Berry said they are swamped with work and recommended I use Shaneco since they could meet my needed completion date. I am so excited it is almost done. I will post pictures of the finished product. THANK YOU Pricescope!
