Dear Physicians, Nurses, Medical Assistants, EMTs, Firefighters, Police people, Laboratory workers, Epidemiologists, Behavorial health professionals, Environmental health experts, Biostatisticians (try saying that word 10 times fast), and anyone else working with people who have Covid-19 or working towards the cure...

Thank you for putting yourselves at risk to help others. There is nothing braver than that. You are the true heroes. Without you we don't stand a chance.

And also a big Thank You to all the essential people continuing to do their job in order to keep everyone well. The food distributors, truck drivers, pilots, pharmacists, veterinarians and vet techs, so many brave selfless individuals. Without whom our country would fall apart. Thank you thank you thank you. So many I know I’m leaving out but to all who are continuing to function at work so this country can run and feed everyone and provide critical supplies thank you!

And thank you to people looking out for others. Those less able to provide for themselves. Shopping for your elderly neighbors and doing what you can for those in need. (((Hugs))).

If anyone has any N95 masks, please consider calling the hospital to see if they need donations. Providers are being asked to engage in less safe practices like rewearing them just to ration them. I know it’s scary not to have them for yourselves but

1. If our frontline health care personnel get sick, there will be nobody to take care of you or your family if someone needs care. If many die or cannot practice afterwards then the personnel shortage could affect us for decades.

2. If the shortage gets bad, you’re likely not going to be able to wear it yourself in public anyways without fear of getting yelled at or harassed. There are lots of families and friends of health care professionals who are hearing that their loved ones are going into patient rooms without PPE and they’re angry and worried. My mom would 100% take one off someone’s head if she saw someone in the grocery store wearing one if I told her my hospital had run out and I didn’t have one. I would not, but my mom is a lot more worried about me than I am lol.

Our hospitals reached out to the community and the donations and responses we got in return were heartwarming. I hope it’s enough to keep everyone safe until production ramps up and can meet needs.

don't forget the supermarket workers who get little love at the best of time
they are right in the thick of it often dealing with angry frustrated people, not on great wages and being at work when im sure it would be safer for them too to be home practicing good social isolation

Thank you. Thank you to each and every person who is working to keep society healthy, operational, and safe. Those of you who don't have the choice to put yourselves at risk and/or who forgo that choice for the sake of the individuals and the whole, there just isn't enough gratitude to equal your sacrifice. May you stay healthy and safe.

Thank you to the guys who delivered my groceries and politely kept a distance the last couple of days. I can’t get any more deliveries now (all the spots are full and everything is sold out). But for tomorrow night at least I’ll have tacos and sandwiches and that’s making my family feel much better.

Thank you to everyone doing their best. Even if all you did today was give a smile and a thanks to the cashier at your store.
Small acts add up, be a like a light send out smiles and thank yous every chance you get.
An Especially BIG thank you to those on the front line be it doctors and nurses and even those restocking stripped bare supermarket shelves.
Remain calm.
Remain kind.
Look after yourselves AND look out for others.
