Senator Kamala Harris Needs A Secret Service Detail!

Since a protester jumped onto the stage and grabbed a microphone out of the hand of presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris, people have been calling for Secret Service protection for presidential candidates. Bobby Kennedy was assassinated while a candidate for president in June of 1968 in California and that led to new regulations providing Secret Service details to candidates, not just office holders. I was really glad to see this video clip on "The Joy Reed Show" today. I have always admired the quiet eloquence of Move On's Karine Jean-Pierre. I didn't know, however, that she would spring into action like a member of a security detail when someone else was attacked! I thought she was amazing! The attack could have been lethal, however. Candidates need more official protection.

Yes they do. The climate on both sides is very angry. Trump has his SS detail and so should all the democratic candidates - we just don't know anymore who's going to shoot.
