Selling setting metal and diamonds for scrap...? Any tips!

I need to sell a 14k gold setting with .15 of small diamonds in the setting (10 or 11 small diamonds totaling .15 cts). Trying to get the most possible for this as I've pretty much maxed out my budget Any tips on where to take it/what to do? I live in NYC.

I can't give yo ua specific store, but I have had the best luck with pawn shops. The diamonds are likely not worth very much, unless the yare very well cut. A pawn shop might give you more than scrap for the gold though if they think they can sell the mount. You might also try calling Good Old Gold because I have hears they give very good prices for gold and will pay shipping (you are local though).

Have you thought about selling it on DB? Is it in good condition to be used again?
