Beautiful!! What are it's dimensions?

The stone is 11.03 by 5.96 by 3.78 And is inscribed Ashoka depth 63.4 . I wish I could take pictures better with my Iphone!!! It is very sparkly...but it for my son to give as engagement ring and of course GF wanted round!!!

Agreed about your future daughter-in-law, she is missing out! I just purchased a preloved Ashoka on EBay and I think it is the prettiest stone I've seen. Yours is an excellent price, I wish I could afford an upgrade this soon. I'm curious about the setting, may I ask where you purchased the stone/setting? It is quite unusual (I think) in its East-West setting.

Part of me agrees that your FDIL is nuts to pass up this beauty as well, but then I remember ... we all have our our own style, taste and preferences. But man ... What a gorgeous piece!
