Hi - we are first time posters here....we fell in love with this Caroline Ellen double row pave ring (however, we would want platinum rather than 20K yellow gold, although, the yellow does look gorgeous!). We live in NYC and I'm certain we could find a similar or custom ring at a much better price, yet we're not quite sure where to launch our search. We truly appreciate any referrals or advice -- we want the ring to be 4mm wide, and prefer the two rows vs the "etoile style" that others have recommended. The diamonds in the two row style appear larger and brighter. Thank you in advance!!!

Since you are in NYC I would check with Steven Kirsch, Engagment Rings Direct, and Leon Mege.

However, if you don't mind going outside of NYC (save on sales tax!!!!) then I would check with Whiteflash and Brian Gavin Diamonds.

All of them could do a beautiful version of this ring. I would just ask for quotes.

I know in your post said you were looking for a cheaper on, i dont know exactly your budget, but i dont know if going hand forged is going to save you or not. I would go Whiteflash just beause i have heard there custom work is cheaper than Brian Gavin, though i would get quotes for both (in case i am wrong)

Thank you both, very much, for taking the time to respond and assist.....much appreciated!!

Cheaper is not always better. And definitely not with Pave. I would ask Steven Kirsch for a quote.
