I''ve just found this site, and appreciate the depth of knowledge I''ve gained in just a few hours of surfing here!! I''m finally getting down to specifics in my search for the perfect e-ring; my honey needs guidance and I am picky, so he knows to ask exactly what I want

I have fallen for the Asscher cut (original, not Royal Asscher) and now need to find a setting.

If any of you folks have photos and styles of platinum settings with 2 side stones I''d love to see them... particularly tapered baguettes or maybe pear shaped or hearts?

I found a gorgeous photo of a handmade platinum setting with tapered baguettes and somehow (dummy me) didn''t bookmark the url, and can''t find it again. It was classy and stunning. I would be so grateful if this rings a bell with someone who can direct me to it again.

I think it would look so pretty with a simple eternity wedding band with channel set baguettes.

Thank you so much in advance!

From EstateDiamondJewelry (definitely worth a browse)...

It could be that you saw this page at NiceIce initially. One of the rings below is presented there as well along with some Daniel K wonders. The classic baguette setting seems very well made - quite impresive given tha small size of those stones, IMO.

Valeria101,

Thank you so much for posting these. (& sorry it took me a week to respond.. work week''s too busy for me to ''play'' on the ''net)

I found the style I was thinking of, on the niceice website they have a page about Asschers and it is pictured there. I have also found a few other beauties, and so with yours, have a collection for him, so there''s some element of surprise there for me on proposal day!

Drfoxy,

I recently purchased an asscher stone set in a plat ring with tapered baguettes--it is a bit different though because the baguettes are set flush in the stone. The ring is by Michael Bondanza, and if you do a search on Pricescope archives, I had posted some photos of it (without my stone). You can also see the ring on the pearlman brother''s website. Best of luck with your search.
