Soooooo beautiful! I really don't know about the price.

I'm not an appraiser, which is what you need. But that's more than I would have paid for that bracelet but I also don't think the price is super outrageous. It's pretty and if you love it, just enjoy it.

203 diamonds are only 1 carat. That means they are very tiny diamonds and the bracelet is constructed to make them appear larger than they are. It is an illusion, but they are like pin-point sizes. Rest assured, the sapphires are most likely heat treated to enhance their color and clarity. This is a very normal practice, but it appears that the seller is not telling you anything about this treatment. You might ask before you buy.

Disregard the appraisal value provided by any seller except for one who you truly have reason to trust. An ebay seller has little to no credibility and there is no such thing as a GIA Certified Diamond Grader. There are GIA graduates and those trained by GIA with a piece of paper to attest to their training, but it does not rise to the level of a "Certification by GIA". That immediately sets off my warning radar and anything else they say is then also subject to doubt.

Show the photo to your local jeweler and see if they can make it for you for the same cost or less. Many could.

Thanks, stci. Did it inspire you to inquire about bracelet availability on Preloved PS Jewels? That's what I should have done!

Thanks for your input, Gypsy. We'll see how much I love it when it arrives, especially in light of a jeweler's or appraiser's opinion.

The description says 1 carat of diamonds and 3.25 carats of sapphires. The listing says "main stone unenhanced" but now that you point that out Oldminer, it could be in reference to the diamonds and not the sapphires. Interesting observation about the GIA Certified Diamond Grader. I don't put much stock in ebay sellers in that I suspect often they either don't even know what they have or may be deceitful about it if they do.

This is our first time making a jewelry purchase from ebay and I admit we are not too knowledgeable, especially about sapphires despite some prior research. Showing the jeweler and inquiring about cost of replica is a good idea

I think we are having a bit of buyer's remorse for a few reasons. I hope this turns out well. Lesson learned.
