Hello…after “lurking” around for some time, I have decided to post a few questions. Everyone on this site is always so gracious in helping others and I am hoping for some advice and guidance:
I am seeking to make my solitaire emerald cut into a three stone emerald ring. However, I am having a very difficult time finding matching side stones with the specs that I have in mind. I contacted whiteflash; however, they have only found one set of stone that come close to matching the criteria I need. I was hoping to evaluate a couple of pairs of stones rather than go with the first one offered to me.
Does anyone have suggestions on any other online stores that may carry a larger selection of smaller emerald cut stones? Should I begin to work with B&M jewelers? Is it very difficult to find matching side stones? How long have people generally waited for their “ideal” side stones?
I am seeking F color / .4-.65(maybe even .7 if the price is in budget)/ VS2 or VS1/ with a l/w ratio of 6 x 4 …..GIA certified….
