Hey guys! I stumbled upon this website when I was looking for a specific band for my girlfriend. Originally, she had her heart set on an Art Carved setting, but has since changed her mind. She picked out a 1/2 carat cathedral setting (3-4 Diamonds on each side I believe) and looked at two of the diamonds that they had. I want to say this was going to cost around $1500 in 14k white gold.
Both of the diamonds were EGL Certified - which makes me a little uneasy. I was wondering if you guys could help me out a little with this. You guys know a heck of a lot more about these things than I do.
when my girlfriend looked at them, she couldn't really tell the difference in them. However, I'm not sure if that was due to the excellent lighting and the sunlight. They look look really nice, but I just want to make sure that I'm getting good value, or if this seems too good to be true.

It was listed as a Hearts and Arrows on the certificate.
