I can see how some passionate but sensitive sports fans may be insulted, and I think they explain the low "rating".

My husband saw this movie not long ago and he really liked it. He loves Patton Oswaldt.

I think the example in the film is pretty extreme...I don't know many sports fans like that, but I guess I can see how the most extreme fans would be insulted.

FWIW, the film has a very high rating on rotten tomatoes (88%), which I think is generally more reliable than netflix for ratings.
