I happened to snag this from BEG. She knew I had a thing for it and offered it to me. Here are some pics! (At night. Incandescent.)

Added a sizing bar into the very bottom of the shank to bring it from a 3.5 to a 5.75. You can just barely see a seam from it on one side of the shank.

Sorry it's dirty.

More of a hand shot...

What a good friend to have, FC. Love the color, love the setting.

Love that ring!

Very pretty ring.

Very nice! It is a similar color to my pale icy zircon, Looks like a nice brilliant stone. :)

That's a lovely color and a nice size Tourmaline!
I love all the color possibilities with Tourmaline, never boring!
Good addition to your collection

I am interested in shanks like that, cool look ~ do you find it comfortable?
I have never tried one....

Great resizing Freke! That stone looks HYOOGE on your hand!

Beautiful ring, and great job on the resizing too! It looks perfect on your finger!

Slight threadjack, but what do you have cooking over in DanielM's kitchen? ;)

Very nice secondhand find Freke. I love that setting. Lots of metal, and I love euroshanks.

I couldn't help but giggle when I saw this because I saw you have a project cooking over there too!

This is project numero uno:

Which will be a RHR that I plan to wear often and it is in honor of my mom who passed away from breast cancer.

Soooo....yeah! We shall see them soon enough!

Oooh, I can't wait to see both of those! My project is a simple RHR for me - double u-prong setting in Argentium for an 8mm square cushion Amethyst, and one of their milgrained rainbow bezels for my BIL's girlfriend's graduation gift. I think I'm in line after yours though, so I'm not sure when I'll get them.

And I'm so sorry about your mom, but what a great way to honor her! My MIL just had a double mastectomy last month, and the pathology tests came back cancer-free. She is now recovering, and will go through her "less invasive" chemo/radiation treatments soon.
