Hello all,

I'm purchasing a diamond online for engagement ring..

I am looking for a second opinion on a diamond I am interested in. My concerns in regards to the diamond Is the si1 clarity which appears to be busy and strong blue Florescence. I was assured the si1 clarity is 'eye clean'. I am content with with all the other specs on the diamond below. If there are any other issues with diamond other than what's mentioned above, please advise. I have attached the CIA certificate.

1.5 carat
Excellent cut
F colour
Si1
Table 56%
Depth 62.6%
Crown 35.5
Pavilion 40.6
Culet none
Girdle medium to slightly thick
Polish excellent
Symmetry excellent
Measurement 7.29 x 7.35 x 4.58 mm

Thanks

The diamond is a little deep which makes it face up a little smaller (diameter) than it might if less deep. We normally recommend sticking with 62.3 or less for depth. However, the numbers look good otherwise. Can they provide you with magnified images of the stone? I would not buy a diamond blind, and especially not an SI clarity stone.

Unfortunately the website is not able to provide me with a visual image of the stone. Considering the si1 clarity is eye clean should I still discredit the stone due to it being strong blue Florescence.? The price for the diamond is $12 288 Canadian. The prices for diamonds here Toronto are quite expensive hence why i am considering to make the purchase online.

Thanks for your quick response, much appreciated.
