Wedding Second fitting - here''s my dress!

I had my second fitting today. So much had to be done during the first fitting that I really didn''t bother taking pictures, but I figured the alterations have progressed enough now to make it worth your while! The bodice still needs to be tweaked just a bit, and the length needs to be hemmed another inch or so (you''ll see it''s pinned in the photos). They are also going to be making the bustle and in some pics, it''s just crudely pinned into place to approxomate how it will look (doesn''t look great in the pics so forgive that!) My final fitting is at the end of the month, and they''ll have a week to do any final tweaks.

I cannot believe all the alterations work they did on this - they basically pulled apart the skirt and re-set all of the tiers of lace because it was about 5'' too long. They tweaked the bodice as well. This dress has been a labor of love - I hope that I''m not fooling myself and that it really looks OK!

The bodice is alencon lace and the skirt is silk organza micropleats.

Coming to the end ...! My veil needs to be formed/pinned - right now it''s still a huge oval piece of silk tulle lined with alencon lace. I wish it wasn''t bunched up here to show you the lace, but this is the best I''ve got.

Thank you MarchSwallowBird, WishfulThinking and Izzy03! I just started having a massive panic attack that maybe I got it wrong? It felt tremendous on, and I was so relieved that it was finally fitted to me. I guess I just hope that other people think it''s nice as well (isn''t it crazy how much we care what other people think?!)

The belt is from Monique Lhuillier - I ordered it in June and it just came in. It was a lastminute addition, but I''m glad I ordered it! I wish I had more pics of the full view with the belt.

you know, it never occurred to me that it might take a while to receive accessories, so i never even bothered ordering any of them. Krissie, if we weren''t getting married the same day, i''d soooo be trying to con you into letting me borrow both the belt and the hair flower!

guess i should start looking for that kind of stuff for myself at some point instead of buying shoes, huh? hehe...

The hair flower is by Marisa. The belt style is called "Farah" I believe, if you want to try to find it on ebay or the like. I''ve attached another photo of it (I look slightly demonic ...)
