Oh my gosh it''s beautiful! You look stunning! I love the little scalloped lace on the neckline. Very flattering and feminine!

It''s sooo beautiful. I love the train- gives it an old Southern feeling, but the rest of the dress is so modern and gorgeous. It looks amazing on you. Am I right that you had a different ML before? If so, this one is much much better.

Is it ML as well?

Oh- and I love your sash. I actually had a similar ML sash, mine was thicker and a latte color with the sparkles. I actually didn''t wear it for the ceremony. I had a long veil like yours that I wore for the ceremony, then before my "entrance" into the reception, I took off the veil and put on the sash- kind of more festive for the reception. It was kind of fun! Just a thought. But I love it either way.

Great choice!!!!!

Wow Krissie you look beautiful - that dress is gorgeous on you. I love the belt especially

Wow - I am truly blown away by all of your sweet comments. THANK YOU! I am glad that so many of you like the belt -- I was a bit undecided until yesterday, when I realized that I really did want some sparkle with the dress! I too love the lacework detail. It''s a shame that the skirt detail doesn''t show too well in these pics - in person it''s pretty incredible - hundreds of little micropleats. It gives the dress its own fullness. So, Honey22, Bee*, Violet02, MRM, Iwanna, geckodani, pearldahhhling and blackpaw ... thank you so much!!

Thanks, ChinaCat! This dress is by a spanish designer called Rosa Clara, but the belt is ML. My original wedding dress was a ML - good memory!

Rosa Clara shows this dress with a huge brooch at the waist, but I think the belt looks a bit more delicate. Plus, I will totally use it to dress up some black tie/cocktail dresses that I''ve got. Wow, I''m so glad that you all like the belt!

so very pretty!!

Oh, gorgeous! I can easily see why it''s taken so much alteration, but it fits so beautifully now! I love alcenon lace. The last picture of your veil really shows what it will be like.

Oooh, I am so glad I stopped by tonight! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that belt! It just pulls everything together, IMO. It echoes the lines of the laces and defines your waist perfectly! You look stunning! Yay! I am just so giddy for you! I can''t wait to see the veil all finished too...it looks soooo luxurious!

Krissie, you look absolutely stunning in that dress. I tried on a Rosa Clara dress when I was looking and the quality was just exquisite. What a great choice!!!

Thank you so much Mintve, Pjean, Facetfire, Sarah and Karasue! I am so glad that you all like my dress. The only thing I''ve been thinking this week is that maybe I want to add a little more fullness to the skirt - it already has a slight crinoline added in. But the dress swishes and sways beautifully when I walk, and provided the skirt is arranged properly, I think it will look great in photos. I''m not sure that adding some more bulk would really help the line, especially considering it''s a drop waist dress.

Karasue, it''s so funny - I had never heard of Rosa Clara, and I still haven''t ever seen that designer advertised! It will just be my little secret

The gown is exquisite in its construction - it''s just a shame that it had to be ripped apart and put back together again!!

Ladies, do you think I should try to have another layer of crinoline added to the skirt? I am just wondering if it looks a little flat, although the original dress wasn''t poufy per se. I have added a small layer of crinoline between the first and second fitting. I wonder whether it should even be tried, since it''s already been hemmed up. What do you think? I''m not really going for a ballgown look because that isn''t the style of this dress - I guess I just need input on what would look good. Thanks!

Ooooh, tough choice. I keep going back and forth. My first instinct was to say yes, add another layer. But I think it would look gorgeous either way though, and I know that you didn't end up liking the fuller skirt of your first dress. But maybe just one layer? I just don't know how full it would make it and I would hate for you to not like it because it felt too full. Can they pin one in there for you to try on and see how it looks?

Your dress is gorgeous!

Kudos to your seamstress...the lady at the salon I worked at was good, too, and I am so sad that I don''t know where she is now to do my dress. But a good seamstress is absolutely worth their weight in gold!!
