Oooh, fellow Aussie. best hunting ground is ebay US or UK. Unfortunately you’ll be hit with GST fees and Global shipping fees but still better. Sad our $A is so poor against the US.
By size I mean gem, resizing up or down a bit is not too expensive.
With Aquas they are usually windowed, that how they cut them. Modern cuts can be fancy enough to prevent a window but they are harder to come by.
ill start looking!

I’m useless, I don’t know how to post links but I’ve got their eBay numbers so you can look them up. do you want their numbers? They aren’t mine or anyone I know, I just search eBay everyday because I’m retired and addicted ha ha.
Btw this is my eBay aquamarine. It took me 15 years to find this one. It had to be huge and under $1,000 $A and everyone was like “nah, that’s never going to happen”. And it came with earrings too. CECD028F-6038-472C-B2C8-044491AAAF68.jpeg 75840AC3-1849-47AF-87C7-D9CEEE61C559.jpeg

I feel I'm drowning in choice. I love the older oval/marquise shapes. I don't want an emerald cut kind.....the heart wants what it wants :)

get the loose stones from Ivy New York website and do own vintage look settings. However may slightly out from topic of "vintage" :)

@Bron357 - I couldn't get one of the etsy rings out of my mind, window not withstanding (it's part of the charm). So I got it ! It is to celebrate my Masters degree & I'm really excited :)
