Looks good, I gather AGS graded them?

Thought so, not both - thank you dear!Date: 6/26/2009 2:18:23 PM

Yep #1 is GIA, #2 is AGS.
Could be, the angles are on the edge of steep deep so depending on which way they are rounded ( you probably know GIA rounds the numbers) there could be light leakage or not depending on what the angles actually are.Date: 6/26/2009 2:26:55 PM

So is #1 worth having WF bring in?
I understand, if it was me I would take a look at this one especially if you would like to get the set done and ready to wear!Date: 6/26/2009 2:46:11 PM

I''d love to have a matching ACA in my range, but am nervous to buy the one and ''hope for the best'' in finding a match eventually...

If it was me I would chance it as the first one could be well worth investigating, if there is no leakage then great, if so then at least you know - then you can see what else is out there.Date: 6/26/2009 3:45:09 PM

I actually don''t need the set until September so I *could* wait
Knowing that, what would you do?

Thanks again Lorelai for your continued help!!!
One last thing - since I'm in Canada and sending them back will not be easy, is WF's version of 'eye clean' good enough for studs in your opinion?

Yes but it is what YOUR expectations are that matters, so make those clear to WF. If for example you don''t want to see any visible inclusions from any angle or distance, make sure you tell WF that so you are both on the same page. They are very used to advising in this capacity as you know, so give them as much info as you can concerning your expectations.
I would say not worth it.Date: 6/26/2009 7:02:57 PM

One last thing - there is a perfect match on the wf website but it is essentially an extra 500 because it is one higher grade in clarity...
Do you think it is worth it?
Thanks Stone-Cold. I guess it is just a 45 dollar risk at this point - if the GIA stone works, I''ve saved a bunch vs. getting the other ACA.Date: 6/26/2009 7:28:00 PM

It could be if it is worth it to you, it might be to me but its up to you! A point to consider, we don't know if the 35/ 40.8 virtual will show leakage, there is a possibility it could do so if you want to be safe the other might be the one to go for if you have the money.Date: 6/26/2009 7:02:57 PM
