I bought a e-ring ring from Blue Nile for my girlfriend, and it is beautiful, but I notice that one of the 4 prongs has a scuff, or a scratch on it. I phoned Blue Nile and they said they would be happy to fix it, but I am in Canada, and it would cost me over $400 to send it there and back with all the taxes/ duty, etc... so I was wondering if any local jeweller would be able to buff it out?! Is it something that is a big deal?

It should be an easy fix, provided it''s not deep. I would just take it to a local jewler. They may not even charge you, but do be sure to offer payment just the same.

Sounds simple enough for a local jeweller to handle. If charged, the payment will be minimal and you''ll know who to go to to check the prongs, cleaning, sizing, etc. It''s always good to develop a relationship with a local jeweller.

Cool, thanks for the advice. Much appreciated :)
