Scratch/Nick on Diamond Table

Hi Everyone,

I was happily staring at my diamond today and noticed a scratch/nick on the table of the diamond!!!!!

It looks to be more than a fine scratch because I can feel it when I run my nail against it

I know that things like this happen and I wouldn''t put it past myself that I was careless enough to store it with another diamond, but my main concern is whether something like this will "grow" larger?! You know... like a crack in the windshield and it keeps growing? Is it worth getting it polished off? I am going to the jeweler on Monday to get my prongs redone so I will probably bring it up to him, but I wanted to ask my fellow PSers for opinions as well. The nick is rather tiny, and I am probably the only one who is going to see it, but its there
