"Us people" wish Ann Coulter all the best in her physical recovery. Maybe there is a brain surgeon with some spare time who happens to drop in as well. I''d also laugh all the way to the bank if people spent money on my book if I were Ann Coulter. Hate and lies sell so well when it comes to certain audiences. Funny how money is always used to as a yardstick for personal happiness ... but that probably reflects personal values more than anything else. Somehow I am not surprised. Just watch out Ann not to dislocate your jaw while laughing so hard.

This is not about liberals vs conservatives, this is about a woman who spreads hate getting an injury that screams karma.
You don''t see any of us saying anything about Barbra Bush''s medical problems because although she is a conservative, she is a good woman who has tried to do the best she can. We cannot say the same for a woman who said vile things about the widows of firefighters killed on Sep 11th.

I think the whole thing is pretty hysterical, on the kind of abstract level, although I don''t really wish Coulter any genuine ill, for any number of reasons. But the schadenfreude thing just reminds me of one of my favorite movies, "Addicted To Love", a whole movie about revenge and taking pleasure in someone else''s misery, (of course by the end of the movie, it has become clear that the pleasure is less than anticipated, that in fact, is not there at all). About Anton, the lover who has used and jilted her, Maggie (Meg Ryan) says..."I''m not saying I want him dead. But, should that occur... people die every day, why should he be any different?" and "I don''t want him back, I just want him vaporized, extinguished! When I''m done with him, he''ll be just a twitching little stain on the floor."

I love that movie! (I discovered it a month after my divorce (1st marriage) was final...it spoke to me, you know?)

Coulter IS pretty awful. I''ve rarely heard such hate-filled tripe as she spews...
