She loved the ring. Everything worked out. Eric the jewler in NY who sold it to me set it for $50, as opposed to the $300, some lunatic wanted to charge me. I got the stone in the setting on Friday, and left on Wednesday for the Colorado. The whole thing is on video and it is absolutely hilarious. Thanks for all your advice.
