Say hello to our new (fur)baby Oscar!

My fiance and I are finally getting our boxer! And only three weeks after the wedding (yikes!). He''s only three weeks old now. We can take him home on September 26th, but the breeder lives just down the road so I was lucky enough to go visit him today!

I nearly imploded from cute overload!

princesss - yes, FI always wanted a boxer too. Which is why we''re getting him. I''m more of a person who likes every kind of dog, so boxers worked for me....that was, until I started really looking into them. Now I''m totally enamored with the breed!

princesss - yes, FI always wanted a boxer too. Which is why we''re getting him. I''m more of a person who likes every kind of dog, so boxers worked for me....that was, until I started really looking into them. Now I''m totally enamored with the breed!

Yeah, I have a feeling that when BF finally gets settled in a job and things stabilize, he''ll be calling around for breeders. It''ll be interesting when we move in together. We''ll have his dog and my two cats. Oh goodness. It''ll be so worth it, though!

Yeah, I have a feeling that when BF finally gets settled in a job and things stabilize, he'll be calling around for breeders. It'll be interesting when we move in together. We'll have his dog and my two cats. Oh goodness. It'll be so worth it, though!

Worth it? Yes I'm sure it is. Tough? It sure will be! I'll let you know how it goes once we get Oscar home. I'm a little anxious how our cat will deal with the new arrival (Oz is my BABY!!)...I do pray it doesn't change him forever.

I know when my parents got a cat it was the best thing possible for their bassett hound. I''m sure Oz will be okay as long as he''s got a safe room the dog can''t get into. They put a baby gate up by the laundry room so the cat can escape and feel safe.
