Thank you so much to everyone for all your care and compassion. She put me firmly in the big dog lover’s camp and despite the real and palpable grief I’m feeling I know that if I never would have had her in my life it wouldn’t not have been as rich as it is. It’s so comforting to know that others have that deep bond with their pets and that my pain isn’t trivial.
