Hi,

I have been asked the table and depth measurement of my diamond ring so I can get a matching
diamond for my earing, I have taken the existing diamond out of its ring setting and wondered
how I could get the table and depth measurement. Can I just go and get them measured at a reputable
jeweller or do I need to get a proper certificate? i.e. GIA etc.

An appraiser would be the best bet.
If you just want size, table and depth a sarin is probably not necessary.
