Sarin web viewer HELP

I can''t open my srn files with my Sarin Webviewer!!!! The boyfriend is a computer geek and can''t work the contraption either. We are able to open the sample files that Sarin has on their website but thats it.

Anyone got a remedy?

Lots of people have trouble with it so you''re not alone. Make sure you installed the current version and make sure you don''t have a firewall that''s interfering. If you can, it seems to work better if you download the file and save it on your disk so that you are opening it locally instead of across the internet.

Thanks. I think we have looked into those things and fixed them. That resulted in us being able to open Sarins samples but not the file i got from the diamond dude.

Make sure you are also trying to open it under a Windows environment and not a Mac. .srn files will not open on Macs or if you''re not running IE Explorer 5.0 or higher.

Thanks, We checked that too, bf being a computer geek and all.

Me thinks it can only be a fault of the file I was sent cuz my version works with gog sarins posted online and sarins examples after download.

that only works for stones that I''ve scanned. I just gave it to you so that you could see a valid file. If mine displayed and yours does not, then it''s the file. If neither one did, then it''s the viewer.

oh so you said to type the word test in that spot and press enter.

well I did and a sarin popped so I guess it's the file itself?
