Here is an example of a left to right tilted facet giving phantom facets in the sarin viewer.
Hi Storm, been travelling a bit and never got back to this thread.
While such innnacuracy in the scan you showed above may not be acceptable for a cutter, it will make little or no difference at dealer and consumer level.
For example, if you have that file it would be probably be impossible to see any difference between the 0.07 degrees of ''broken'' facet if you or I "refacetd that facet with the Cut editor in DiamCalc.

Without the wire frame in Diamcalc - with say a Gem Adviseer file, it would be just about impossible to detect, and I imagine the light return etc will be the same
