Dear ejacobson,

first i bought stone and then i searched for perfect halo, as suggested here i was not looking any from ebay (China made) as it is going to be E ring and it will be 24/7 in use.To be honest i was looking some ebay China sellers but all of their rings were missing that last "wow" effect, also almost all rings on ebay are same or similar. So after some time i found USA seller that makes semi mounts and this is it.... I like it. Also as i see other people like it too. So i cant be happier.

Are you setting an oval stone in a round double halo setting?

Its hybrid oval/round but there is not space between sapphire and halo if you ask about that as sapphire is 3-4 mm above and size of stone is 6,91x6,4. The space that you see now is because sapphire is not attached yet, i set it with fingers.
