Sapphire in Mark Morrell

I posted this in SMTR, but this is the place for true appreciation of this beauty!

I''ve had the good fortune to obtain Angeline''s Mark Morrell setting. I have a lovely blue sapphire that I will be having placed in the setting. In order to achieve this the prongs will need to be repaired and the ring will have to be sized from a 6 to an 8.
To say I''m over the moon in obtaining a genuine Mark Morrell is an understatement, and I want whomever I contract to do these repairs to be up to the challenge. I don''t know of any local jeweler I would trust with this piece, so I''m looking to the only group who can truly understand my concern here with recommending a platinumsmith who can live up to this task.

Lucky you in getting a MM original; it's only something I can dream about. I would not trust just any jeweller to do the work so I can understand your feeling. Have to contacted Mark about doing this work? This would be my first option since his craftmanship is impeccable and it is his own creation after all. If he will not do it, then I would recommend Quest jewelers.

Oh this is lovely! I have a pink spinel from Richard Homer that is currently being set into something similar (from the top view of your ring at least) and I am so looking forward to it now. The sapphire on this setting looks great!
