Hi everyone,
I've been searching and searching and can't find the answer to my question. This always seems to be the perfect place to get the answer to all jewelry mysteries!
Apologizes if this has already been discussed to death somewhere else, but I can't find it.
I just bought a new marquise diamond and am searching and searching for a new setting as it's currently in a temporary setting until it finds its forever home. Too many choices...
Specs on the diamond: 1.9 carat, I/J , med flour. It doesn't hold much color, but it's definitely a warm stone.
My question is: will a sapphire halo make a warm diamond look warmer or will it whiten it?
I've seen lots of halos on Fay Cullen's site and it's hard to tell from the pictures what the real life result is.
Can anyone help? Thanks!
Here's the sapphire halo that is a potential contender, although I'd do it NS for my taste with some other modifications:
