Thanks all! I have two minor conerns w/ this diamond:
1) there is a "cloud" below the table, but I have been told the diamond is "eye-clean"
2) the thin faceted girdle, will this be more prone to chipping (should I be concerned with this)?

Also, how do I post pics, I was trying to post the Idealscope & ASET images? I tried the "attach file" function but it didn''t work.

Congrats! Nice job! I loooooooooooooooooooove the setting you''re getting!

1. In a VS2, it should not be a problem.

2. No.

Great stone, no worries!

Yummy!

Well I received my diamond yesterday, and am working on setting an appointment up w/ an indpendent appraiser.

I was looking at the format of AGS reprot, and it does not seem to contain as much info as other reports I have seen?? So I went to the AGS website and found that there are severl different documents that they proivide. The one I have is a "AGS Diamond Quality Report" but there is NOTHING in the report describing the cut?

Here''s the link for diamond, what do you all think, should I be concerned?

Thanks!

cva, sorry I missed your previous posting of the IS pic! It''s a gorgeous stone, really. No worries, you did good.

That is very interesting. I would not personally be concerned because the AGS report lists all the proportions and you know what those should look like, and you have the Idealscope image, which is stunning. It also listed the polish and symmetry as excellent, which is totally great (apparently not visually distinguishable from ideal). Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Is the diamond beautiful??

Yeah the stone is beautiful, it sparkles like crazy! I am just very concerned that I am missing something.
Why wouldn''t the "cut" grade be on the report, I emailed WF but have not got a response yet.

The WF description says "round ideal cut"???
