No clue whatsoever. I honestly cannot even hazard a guess given all that has happened over the last few months.

If you had asked me last year where 2023 would have ended up I would not have been able to guess. So yeah. The future unfortunately is unknown. So I, for one, plan on taking it one day at a time.

The best we can hope for is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness

I didn't vote, but viewed the results. Wow - 58% said "worse." I just can't think about that. I'm not sure how this world/country can handle that.

Good point. But the U.S. in particular is so enmeshed with the rest of the world. We're involved in other countries' wars, politics, economies, trade, environmental issues, etc. So I have a tough time mentally separating the United States from the rest of the world.

But, yeah, maybe I should have created two different polls.
