I cannot find cleaning powder for the Salton Jewelry Spa. Does anyone know where to buy it or an alternative that works? Thanks.

Hi there! I don''t use any special jewellery cleaner in my ultrasonic cleaner. I just drop in warm water, dash of dishwashing deterget, and a generous splash of cloudy ammonia. This is perfectly safe for my diamond and yellow gold jewellery. If you are using other metals, stones etc, do a quick search for threads about ultrasonics, as they are some items that cannot go in them. Eg. emeralds and rings with pave to name a few i believe.
