Hello PSers,
Monitoring Preloved has become challenging, particularly with the recent passing of Andrey, leaving me as the sole moderator for the entire PS forum.
In the past, we have been lenient with threads labeled as "feelers" without a link to a sales platform, allowing them to stay until someone expresses interest. However, going forward, we will be removing such threads. More often than not, the person selling fails to follow up and post a for-sale listing elsewhere, creating a burden for me in terms of monitoring.
While these policies about sales links have always been there, effective immediately, all threads MUST contain a valid for-sale post on a legitimate sales platform such as eBay, Loupetroop, Diamond Bistro, etc., at the time of posting or they will be removed. This has ALWAYS been the policy, but we have been very lenient when someone says it's coming, they're posting a link soon, etc. Now you must post a link for sale immediately.
A longstanding listing on one of these platforms merely serving as a "contact me" button will not be considered valid. While PS is committed to maintaining this for-sale message board, we lack the capacity to function as a sales platform. Therefore, transactions must take place elsewhere through a valid for-sale post to help prevent potential scams and fraudulent activities.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the Preloved section. This is not up for debate, and as such comments will be closed. However, if you have specific questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly via the "report concern" button.
