I have been poking around looking for a ruby eternity (or semi) here and there. I thought I had a vendor on etsy ready to make me a channel set squarish cut band for a steal, but really weird experience, I didn't hear back, waited and then when I pinged the store she said she couldn't do it. Oh well. So current contender drumroll:

Number one and number three look the same to me. Am I missing something?

I do like those settings, very vintage yet timeless.

I would just be worried about getting rubies that are lead glass filled because they won’t stand up to the rigors of being in an eternity band

They are, I think I inserted the thumbnails in too many times.

Other than asking, how do you determine glass filled?

I too have looked at coloured gemstone eternity rings but found that all the “vintage / pre loved” ones had damage to at least one of the gemstones. I would be asking very directly if any of the gems are chipped or abraided. Obviously wear and tear is an issue with any vintage piece but it seems coloured gem set eternity bands take a “beating”.

Lab report or gemologist.

To be honest, I would probably get synthetic rubies for an eternity band, as natural rubies can be pricey and highly treated.
