I know I''ve asked a lot of questions already, so I hope you guys aren''t annoyed.

I''ve been reading through pages and pages of great info on PS in just the past couple of days and Ive come to value all of your opinions very highly. So much so that I''m kinda relying on your expert opinions to help me make an informed decision. I feel like I would not be doing proper due diligence without receiving concurrence from the helpful

I''ve narrowed down my specs. I would like a AGS0, H&A, 1.5 ct round brilliant, no lower than G and VS2; budget around 14k. I''m still not too sure about the quality of WF''s ACA H&A versus JA''s Hearts & Arrows (TrueHearts). The PS tool found predominently JA diamonds and ID Jewelery.

With my new specs, could you guys please let me know what you think? Not limited to just the PS tool, but here are the ones that came up, sorted by price:

$15170 - 1.507 ct G VS1 Whiteflash ACA

I encourage any and all comments. Please let me know what you think and I promise to lay low with my postings after I make a final decision

Thank you everyone!

boy you''ve got a lot... Where are you likely to purchase the ring/setting? if it is with any of the vendors above, I would then narrow down your diamond search is my suggestion to vendor that has the setting you like (keeping all transaction in the same place also helps keep thing running smoothly) unless you are going with Leon, or Mark Morell or others?

Agreed. I can''t imagine either vendor would steer you wrong. If you have a setting preference that might narrow (or expand) your vendor choices. Plus, do you care about upgrade policy?

I think, after price, you also need to pinpoint what''s most important to you. Do you want the largest stone for your price range?

Sorry, those are all the ones that came up in the jewelry search tool.

I''m going to be getting the setting from a different vendor because none of those carry the brand I want.

I''d like to stay closer to 14k, but am willing to go up to 15k if it would be a worthwhile and a noticeable difference.

Noob, which brand are you looking for? It''s possible one of the other PS vendors might carry it.

Hi, I was looking at a verragio setting.

Here are the IS image:

ya, hearts looks abit off, probably image taking error. Ask to retake the image if you are really anal about getting a H&A.

Images look fine, should be a nice diamond, if anything its the image and the image looks pretty good anyway.

Their ACA - A Cut Above - line is superb. No problems with that stone.

That''s a gorgeous stone.

What do you guys think about this one from James Allen? Overall size is just a tad bigger and price is a few hundred less (negligible).

Hi, I was looking at a verragio setting.
So none of the PS vendors carry Verragio settings??
Or are you simply dead set against taking the advice of using the same vendor for the setting and stone?

I think Good Old Gold does - you''d have to check some of the other websites for those that do.

Looks like GOG does carry Verragio, but they haven''t been responsive to my email. I may try to call tomorrow. From my research, I''m not sure if buying from one place would really make it that much easier. Verragio said that the diamond must be sent to them to set in the setting or else the warranty would be voided and each setting is made to order.

So from what I understand, the only extra step would be for me to send the diamond to the vendor.

Without having seen any of these diamonds in person, I''m just starting to favor the WF ones; from what I''ve read.

Thanks

Hearts
One of the hearts is off at ten o'clock but overall the images are good.

Good eye! I''m going to pass on that one, but I wonder if that little off mark would be visibly noticeable to the naked eye?

Here''s another one I am seriously considering. It''s a 1.7 ct H VS2. The 1.7 is on the left and the 1.5 is on the right.

The IS and ASET don''t look as good as the 1.5, and it''s a drop in color, but do you think it would be noticeable once set into a setting?
