Hi,
I am so glad to have found this site! I recently purchased a diamond and I was advised that the measuremnts of the diamond did not match up to the carat weight of the diamond.
I purchased a 2.02 or 2.03 diamond but the measurments were in the 7.84-7.94 range when they should have been around 8.1, preferably 8.2. I exchanged my diamond
for one that was 8.2 and wow what a difference. the original ring due to its measurements only faced up like a 1.75, yet I was paying the price for a 2.00 c diamond. Thanks pricescope, the ring I have looks so much bigger and is slightly less in carat weight as it has the correct dimensions of what a round brilliant of its carat size should have.
Just wanted to pass this one on for others considering a round diamond.
There are also charts in some of the messages of what the diamond should measure for its carat weight.
Check them out!
