I have been patiently searching for a round diamond for some time. I have been looking of >2.0ct. VS2 with color I or better, EX cut.
I am really confused about fluorescence! Is it good or bad?

Anyway, please share your opinions on this one:

Gemologist review:
It has excellent fire, brilliance, and scintillation, which balances nicely. It's completely eye clean, and its "I" color gets a small boost of white thanks to its fluorescence.
It's completely eye clean. I highly recommend it for your purchase and feel confident that you'll be very happy when you see it in person

Confusion: Can Faint fluorescence (not blue?) make it appear whiter?

It looks pretty good. The fluorescence can definitely help with making a stone look whiter. In very rare cases it can make the stone look milky, but that's not too common. The gemologist at JA will always give you an honest assessment.

It looks good to me. We like fluor around here. I have a small stone with fluor and its pretty cool.

Most times fluorescence is not an issue. It's uncommon for fluor to cause a problem, and as the gemologist said, can help a stone out. I have a stone (an I) with medium blue fluorescence and love the effect. If the gemologist hasn't mentioned any problems then it should be fine.

You mention the fluorescence is faint. Faint fluor generally doesn't have a marked effect (but I guess it could have some?) on a stone. I've just always understood you get more of a boost with medium and strong fluor. And could you tell us what color the fluor is if it's not blue? I think blue fluor is the most common, but there are other colors of fluor. Did the gemologist say?

I will check on the color of fluorescence.
Thanks everyone for replies..

Here is the response from site rep:
Gemologist confirmed that fluorescence is blue.
As expected of a diamond with faint fluorescence, it isn't impacted in any way. The gemologist saw a slight boost to its color, but the average person will never be able to appreciate this.

What do you suggest? Is this worth buying...any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Here is another option and i am confused between them. Note that this one has strong blue fluorescence.I don't have idealscope images yet.
Which one would you pick?

Trying to get images :) I like that cut, polish and symmetry on second is EX...On one hand inclusion looks scary in the pic (i hope its due to magnification) but other than that its absolutely clean!
