Hi, i have been looking at several stones and got the pic today from the site rep and i am not sure what to make of it.
Rep claims that diamond is eye clean (SI2). Any inputs are much appreciated. HCA score is 1.3

Hi

The Picture does not really help to determine if stone is eye clean or not, being SI2 it is imperative to know
if the stone is truly eye clean or not, I don't think any of the Pser can answer by looking at the Image or Certificate,
You may have to ask more questions from the rep like:
1) Did the Gemologist looked at the stone or it is just an opinion of the sales rep?
2) Can you get the Close up image?
3) Does the stone has black inclusions in the center? if yes how big are the black inclusions small, medium, big Just
to understand more.
4) is it 100% eye clean or you could view the inclusions from the distance of 6 inches.

I think if you ask above questions from the rep, it may help you know more about the stone and will help you
to take right decision.

Please ensure store has appropriate return policy in case you do not like the diamond.

Hopefully all the points mention above should help.

Can you ask for a better picture with a white background and an ideal scope image? That will help us better direct you.

Poor stone choice. Dump it and choose another. Make sure cut is priority.

I agree. Stick to GIA Excellent cut only. I wouldn't even look at a stone with that pavilion angle without an idealscope image. You need to stay in the safe zone of excellent within ideal cut specs if you are buying via long distance. If this vendor doesn't provide idealscope images, you need to change vendors.
