Okay, so after the last post I''ve looked a little harder for a better cut. This diamond is actually a suggestion by one of the other posters. Its pretty much perfect as far as the color, size and cut, but I am a little worried about the clarity. Can I tell from the pictures whether it is really "eye-clean?" What do you guys think?

Also, maybe it would be possible for me to put the prong on one of them? Gosh, this is such a long an difficult process!!! Plus, I don''t think my employer appreciates me scouring the net all day long instead of getting work done!

Have you asked WF if it is eye-clean? That''s the only way to know. Looks lovely though!

yeah, I talked to Lesley (apparently one of the owners) and she said that the notes say you can''t see anything from up to 3 cm away from your face. However, she said that she would check it personally tomorrow or the next day and call me back to confirm. I gave her my credit card information and set up the deal.

What do you guys think? Will I be happy with this diamond out the door, set in 14k white gold at $7,500?

Seriously, the only thing I''m concerned with is whether she will notice the black crystals while she is wearing it. As long as she can''t see those, this is the perfect diamond to me.

It looks lovely! Those pics are greatly magnified, so hopefully it will be eyeclean, but WF will advise you - no worries.

The diamond is lovely!!! You''d have to ask WF to eye ball it for you to be sure, but I think there is a good chance that it''s eye clean.

I have an H/SI1 and I was worried, but it is eye-clean and beautiful. I am now sold on H-I color H&A diamonds. The diamond you chose is an awesome size. I think you will be impressed when you see it. Congrats!

Thanks, I appreciate the support. I just hope the good people at WF do a good job of examining the diamond. I think I tend to be a little picky, and I hope that I don''t have to send it back. I have been obsessing over the pictures all day, and I think it will turn out okay. I shrunk the pictures to see if I could see anything and I couldn''t. So, I guess I''ll just have to wait.

I think that looks lovely (as a noob, I''m sorry, I''m no real help to you).
I love James Allen''s ''loupe'' device, helps you see into the diamond...

Regarding your plans - I think you should possibly consider setting the diamond in 18k gold rather than 14k. Just my feelings... makes the jewellery a little more special than the every day stuff...
